Screwdriver Tips
The more pointed one at the left is a Phillips, the one you want now. It was designed for mass production assembly. The Posidrive and other more blunt tipped types followed as they were better for unscrewing, the Philips prone to damaging heads on tight screws.
Tinning: This is applying a thin coat of solder to a metal surface. When two flat metal faces are to be soldered together as in the terminal strip here, the area of each face to be joined is first coated with a film of solder. Then the two parts are held together and when heat is applied above one of the metal faces, the solder flows and joins the two parts.
Electrical Solder: This is solder in a thin wire form which contains an anti-corrosive flux.
